Dr. Preeti Tandon is a Gynecologist and Obstetrician specializing in Laparoscopic surgery and management of high risk pregnancies. She has worked extensively across India and UAE in various well known hospitals. She recently worked as a Specialist Gynecologist, Obstetrician, and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Medeor Hospital and International Modern Hospital in Dubai. Prior to Dubai she was Senior Consultant Gynaecology and Gynae Oncology at Medanta, The Medicity Gurgaon, India, and also worked as Associate Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology at Artemis Hospital Gurgaon, India.
Her experience in Dubai has also been an enriching experience having learnt all the nuances of running a successful Gynae and Obstetrics practice in UAE. Professionally, she has been handling all aspects of Gynaecology, laparoscopic procedures, Obstetric care and various outpatient procedures. Over the years in Dubai, she has developed a sound Obstetric practice, based purely on evidence based medicine and patient centred approach. She strongly feels that motherhood is a journey starting from preconception preparation, carrying on throughout the pregnancy stage, safe and comfortable delivery and the post-partum stage. She feels truly blessed to be able to give not only the highest standard of medical care during these stages, but also be available to the mother-to-be for all the warmth and care, every woman needs during this period.
On the academic front she has been part of academic oriented teams, taking part in various conferences, talk shows, newspaper articles and live demonstration of lap procedures here and abroad. She has been part of training laparoscopic fellows at International Modern Hospital. She has to her credit various academic presentations and publications at national and international conferences.
She regularly interacts with women groups to impart knowledge about various issues, like Endometriosis, PCOD, preconception counselling, post-partum care of the mother, self-care and physical & mental aspects of healthy lifestyle for women.
